There are not many things in life that cause me to completely lose track of time, but writing is one of them. It has a stimulating, yet calming effect on me-an unlikely and enjoyable combination! The arts, animals,children and reading are some of my other loves. I published my first children's picture book in 2009 and it has been recognized by Mom's Choice Awards, Dove Foundation and Writer's DIgest. The name of it is "Anastasia Pickering, Anastasia's Rain".
